The Universe's Last Secret Solved? A Groundbreaking Exhibition Invites the Public to Decide for Themselves on the "Theory of Everything"

CATSKILL, NY – October 31, 2025 – For nearly a century, the scientific community has grappled with the elusive Unified Field Theory, the so-called "Holy Grail" of physics. While physicists debate the non-renormalizable nature of combining gravity with strong electroweak interactions, one new exhibition at the Citiot gallery in Catskill is cutting through the complex equations and inviting the public to solve this monumental problem with a simple act of personal conviction.

It's All Connected, a new show by artist Matt Bua, opens on Friday, November 7th, at the Citiot cultural hub, presenting a unique, philosophical, and whimsical challenge: Can the profound question of universal connectivity be solved simply by asking individuals to decide for themselves?

The exhibition posits that the inability to reconcile General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics is not an insurmountable scientific hurdle, but rather a matter of perspective that can be overcome through a collective shift in human consciousness. Drawing on the "butterfly effect" and Einstein's own discomfort with "spooky action at a distance," Bua’s show suggests that by a simple, shared acknowledgement—a nod of "yes" to the phrase "It's all connected"—humanity can finally "flap its wings" and bring everything together in the most "sane whole-istic way (un)imaginable."

"The incompatibility of the two theories remains an outstanding problem in the field of physics—until now," Bua states. "This supposedly last problem for humanity to 'solve,' the theory of EVERYTHING, will be solved on Nov 7th. There will not be any gigantic equations. It will be done simply by each and every one of us either silently or out loud saying 'It’s ALL connected' and giving a nod 'yes'."

The exhibit itself is rich with local Catskill lore and synchronistic moments that reinforce the "all connected" theme. The story of two Dutch entrepreneurs (Pim and Gert) purchasing a giant chainsaw-carved sculpture of Rip Van Winkle down in Brooklyn NY—created by master Hal Macintosh of Round Top NY—and unknowingly setting up their "Citiot" hub down the road from another Macintosh Rip sculpture serves as a physical metaphor for the serendipitous nature of connected events.

From cat-eyed logos and local billboard messages ("It's just a matter of time"/ J.A.M.O.T.) to the etymology of the Catskill name itself, the exhibition weaves a narrative that challenges the viewer to embrace a unified reality where division is the only true "lie." Also- the book- Talking Walls is turning 10–and we will be releasing a new edition.

The show's core philosophical question for all attendees: "What is the thing no one can ever deny?"

Whether you are a seasoned physicist or simply someone who has felt the mysterious pull of synchronicity, It's All Connected invites you to participate in a profound experiment to bridge the gap between science and philosophy, logic and intuition.

When Stan Lee and crew at Marvel decided to choose a name for the Kingdom that the Character Black Panther should be prince of- They choose Wakanda which turns out to be a variation on the Native American word “WakanTonka” aka “WanaTonka” the word that New York State’s 1st female historian Jessie V.V. Vedder luckily noted was the name given by the natives to Catskill Point- when it was still a circular island at the convergence of the Hudson River and the Catskill Creak!
